Replacement installs
Old unit out, new unit in: new braided supply line, drain connected with a proper high loop (or air gap where required), levelled front-to-back and side-to-side, secured to the counter or cabinet sides, door spring tension set, and a full cycle run to check for leaks. We'll flag a corroded shut-off valve and replace it if you want it done.
First-time installs
Kitchens in older Waterloo and Cambridge homes often have no dishwasher and no plumbing for one. We can add a supply tee off the sink, a drain connection to the disposal or sink tailpiece, and coordinate an electrician for the dedicated circuit if there isn't one. Cabinet modification is sometimes part of it.
Panel-ready and integrated units
Miele, Bosch, Fisher & Paykel and similar integrated dishwashers with custom cabinet panels need careful panel alignment and hinge adjustment. We do this regularly.

Do I need a plumber or an installer?
For a replacement, an installer. For a first-time install with new plumbing, we handle the supply and drain; a plumber is only needed for unusual situations.
Can you install a dishwasher where the counter is quartz or granite?
Yes — we use side-mount brackets so nothing is drilled into stone.
What if my shut-off valve is seized?
Common in older homes. We'll replace it while the unit is out — a small add-on that prevents a big leak later.
