Washer & Dryer Installation in Kitchener-Waterloo
Laundry sets installed with new hoses, a dryer vent that won't start a fire, and a washer that doesn't walk across the floor.
A washer and dryer delivery crew will usually connect the hoses and leave. What they skip is what matters over the next ten years: replacing the old rubber supply hoses that fail and flood basements, installing the dryer vent in rigid metal instead of foil, levelling the washer so it doesn't shake itself apart on spin, and assembling the stacking kit or pedestals properly.
Front-load, top-load and stacked
We install all configurations. Stacked units need the manufacturer's stacking kit and a level, solid floor. Pedestals (drawer bases) are assembled and secured. Laundry in a closet — common in Waterloo condos and townhomes — needs the vent routed correctly in tight space.
Dryer venting
Rigid or semi-rigid metal duct, short and straight, terminating outside with a damper. If your existing vent is foil or plastic, we'll replace it — that's where dryer fires start.
Gas dryers
The gas connection is done by our certified gas-fitting partner, KW Gas Fitter. Book once and we coordinate.

Frequently asked questions
Should I replace the supply hoses?
Yes, every time. Old rubber hoses are the number-one cause of laundry-room floods; braided stainless hoses are included in our install.
Can you stack a washer and dryer that came as separate units?
Yes, if the manufacturer offers a stacking kit for that pair. We'll check.
My dryer vent is really long — is that a problem?
Possibly. Long or convoluted vents reduce airflow and build up lint. We'll assess and quote a fix if needed.
Do you install in condos?
Yes — Waterloo and Kitchener condos and townhomes with in-suite laundry closets are a regular job.
