An OTR microwave is a heavy appliance hung above a hot surface. It deserves better than two screws into a cabinet bottom.
Over-the-range microwaves replace a range hood and mount to both the wall and the upper cabinet. The mounting plate needs to hit studs, the top bolts need proper support in the cabinet, and the vent has to be configured for your situation — ducted out the back, ducted up through the cabinet, or recirculating. We do all of this correctly and set the vent for what your kitchen actually has.
Built-in microwaves and drawers
Built-in microwaves go into a cabinet opening with a trim kit that has to be fitted precisely. Microwave drawers (Sharp, Wolf, Bosch) mount below the counter and need the opening and the electrical exactly per spec. We measure first.
